New Flyer for February, 2010

Jan 10, 2010 - Do you write articles or have CDs or have products you sell on the internet? Wouldn't it be great if your article had a polished and professional look with a magazine or book cover image? How about a CD with a CD box cover? Maybe your logo on a shopping bag for your online store? I can do that for you! Email me with how you imagine your cover should look, and I will send you a sample. Speaking of which...Have you seen my eBook? I have written several articles and the will all be online soon. I hope everyone had a great Christmas, and I wish you the best in 2010!

October 17 , 2009 - You need to check out my latest website design: BattleBred.com!

Sept 13 , 2009 - I just returned from TAMP Convention in Austin. No matter that it rained the ENTIRE weekend! Austin needed rain so badly...I heard a PSA on the radio about water conservation (strange to hear in the middle of a monsoon) that said "Lake Travis has more islands than Fiji!" .... Anyway... the convention was small - no suprise in this economy - but what fun! I got there just in time to make the board meeting and party Friday night. It was great to see all the familiar faces that I used to see when I'd go to Austin and Houston to host the networking events! And don't get me started on the food! It was dee-LISH! I had 3 platefulls of sashimi. YUM!

June 20 , 2009 - Plans are coming together for the NEW website for Dallas Association of Mortgage Brokers. Following the change of the State Association to "TAMP", DAMB will soon change to NTXAMP. Why? Because: ever since licensing for Loan Officers and Mortgage Brokers began, those who were working for banks were not required to be licensed. Beginning next year ALL loan originators are required to be licensed. It will be FEDERAL LAW. So the "B" in the former TAMB and DAMB will no longer stand for "Broker." The "P" will stand for "Professional." Brokers and Bankers will have the same licencing and education requirements. Times are a-changin'!

May 23 , 2009 - I hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day weekend... I certainly am...getting caught up on some projects that I've been putting off due to my longer hours at First American, aka, Chase Real Estate Tax Services. I've also been on the lookout for people who need a summer job... TXBusinessNetwork.com needs marketers/sales people in the Keller/Southlake/Alliance are to bring in advertisers for their new publication. The commissions are generous, and the bonuses are nice too! If you are good at sales and need extra income, contact me!

The Baylor Campus Area Apartment Guide is online - I did most of the ads and the entire layout - I love doing this kind of work!

I've also really been enjoying the work I've been doing for Dallas Mortgage Bankers Association, First Capital out of Houston, MyHombuyerClub.com, and Godwin Tsui. I always enjoy creating something new!

March 15 , 2009 - It's been an extremely busy time for me lately, but that's always a good sign! Recently I started a new BLOG, which posts to my Plaxo Page any time I update it. Not that my life is terribly interesting, but I do post what's "goin' on" with me there. Have you joined Plaxo? It's been one of my best ways to network and make announcements about what I'm doing, and what Dallas AMB is doing. You should try it!

Feb 15 , 2009 - Very glad to be doing a new gig with First American Tax Services! Before long I will know Property Taxes inside and out for one of their largest clients. I always seem to be in training - is that good or bad? LOL! Regardless, this gig will help me acheive my A.C.E. certification for Adobe - even more training to go through! :-)

Dec 8 , 2008 - Still recovering from the Jingle Bell Run that was on Dec 6th! Somebody needs to get into better shape. :-) We finished in just under 35 minutes - others on our little team won trophies! Makes me very proud.

If you haven't seen the email special I ran recently...check it out... Business Cards as low as 29.95, Brochures as low as 189.95, and email broadcasting as low as 69.95. Be sure to mention the special pricing when ordering!

Nov 12 , 2008 - The times, they are a-changin'! For the Holiday Season I've taken on a temporary full-time spot. I love being an artist, but I try to avoid being the starving variety! I've also said Buh-Bye to Fidelity Investments and have submitted paperwork to re-activate my Loan Officer license. In the meantime, I'm still enjoying the work I'm doing for all of the campus area guides! Next up is TCU. Be sure to email me if you want copies of any of these guides - they all show a ton of my work! :-)

Oct 24 , 2008 - I am back from a visit to Colorado Springs and gearing up for the next BIG project - the Baylor Campus Area Apartment Guide! I am very excited about this new endeavour. Also, TX Business Network is getting ready to have a social event in November in Downtown Ft. Worth. Keep an eye on their website for details.

Sep. 29, 2008 - Special thank you to Grace Hensley for putting me in touch with Pastor Troy and Steve Ashley. I love to network and bless people in ministry! I look forward to helping create an online sign-up form for their seminar.

Sep. 10, 2008 - My new website is live today! Be on the lookout for specials I am running in conjunction with going live.

Sep. 9, 2008 - Hooray! I passed my 401K Advisor exam at Fidelity Investments. For the next few months, I will be at the Fidelity office in Westlake, M-F, 7:30am-11:30am. I am dedicated to graphic art afterward and will typically be available M-Th, 12-7pm.

Aug 28 , 2008 - Special thank you to Cliff Freeman for putting me in touch with an online Continuing Education company to work on websites. Cliff, you rock!
